RBI has issued some guidelines, so that now if you want to do any transaction from ATM, UPI or net banking, then you will get a message immediately, in which you will be confirmed whether you have done the right transaction or mistake. From. In this message you will also be given a phone number. If you have done that transaction by mistake then you can immediately tell on that phone number that this transaction was done by mistake. RBI has directed that your bank will have to take immediate action on such messages.


You have to do this work…

If you have ever transferred money to a wrong account by mistake, then immediately inform your bank about it. Whether the transaction was done by fraud or by your mistake. You can either call your bank on the customer care number or you can visit the bank branch yourself. Here you will have to tell everything in whose account the money has gone, its bank account, date, time etc. The bank can contact the recipient to whom you have remitted the money.

You can take action

If you have sent money to whose account by mistake and they refuse to return the money, then you can take legal action. You have to take the case to court. RBI also directs this. However, the matter may drag on in this process as the matter will now be settled in the court. Your transaction will be seen in the bank and in the court. The most important thing is that if you have transferred money by mistake, then the accountability becomes yours, in which case the bank is also not responsible for it.



On the other hand, if you have entered the account number of the recipient wrong by mistake and the money has been deducted from your account, then your money will be credited back automatically. At the same time, if you have entered the wrong account number at the time of UPI transaction, then your money will not be deducted because then this transaction will not be able to complete.
