RBI Rules : The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has repeatedly warned investors about frauds in the name of KYC updation. Due to such incidents in recent times, RBI has again asked investors to exercise caution to prevent losses. RBI has many times asked investors and common people to exercise caution. RBI has suggested several ways through which people can avoid money related frauds.

1. Customers receive many types of unwanted messages through phone calls/SMS/email, through which they are asked to login and provide personal information.

2. They also get requests to install unauthorized or unverified apps through links sent through messages.

3. Generally, callers create such a need in such conversations that the other person does not understand what to do and what not to do. If they do not do so, they threaten to block or freeze the account.

4. After providing the required personal or login information to the customers, the fraudsters get access to their account.

You can complain here
