Redmi 14C 5G: Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is preparing to launch its entry-level 5G smartphone Redmi 14C in India. This phone is going to be launched on January 6, 2025. Redmi 13C was launched in 2023. Now the company aims to bring many upgrades with Redmi 14C 5G. The company is going to launch the phone in a few days. At present, before the launch, many information has been received about this upcoming phone from Amazon and the company’s social media platform. Let’s know about it in detail.
What will be special in Redmi 14C 5G?
The micro-website created for the phone on Amazon shows that the Redmi 14C will come with an attractive and new design compared to the Redmi 13C. The phone has a circular island on the rear panel with a dual camera set-up. It will come in three color options – Starlight Blue, Stardust Purple and Stargaze Black. The purple and black variants will see a monochromatic pattern. At the same time, the blue variant has a hint of silver at the top and blue color at the bottom which creates an ombre effect. For durability, the phone has been given an IP52 rating which makes it dust and water resistant.
The front of the phone has a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company, Redmi 14C has the largest display in this segment. The display has also received TUV Low Blue Light, TUV Flicker-Free and TUV Circadian certifications, making it more eye-friendly.
The Redmi 14C is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and runs on HyperOS. The company claims that the phone will get the most efficient 4nm processor in the segment which improves the multitasking game. Apart from this, it will have a 5160mAh battery with 18W charging support. A 33W charger will be available in the box of Redmi 14C.
For photography, the Redmi 14C will have a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera. It will also get some AI camera features, but its information will be given during the launch.
How much will it cost?
Tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed that the base variant of the device i.e. 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, is priced at Rs 13,999. However, after the special launch offer, the price can go up to Rs 10,999 or Rs 11,999, making it an attractive option in the budget segment. However, the actual price will be revealed only after the launch.
