To download Aadhar card online, first you have to log on to the direct link given by UIDAI – eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. You will be able to login through OTP.
Follow these steps to download Aadhaar online
- Login to the direct link of UIDAI – eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
- Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- If you want a masked Aadhar card, then tick the box to the left of ‘I want a masked
- Aadhar’ option.
- Enter the security code or captcha.
- Click on ‘Send OTP’.
- OTP will be sent to you on your Aadhaar-registered mobile number.
Enter OTP. - After submitting the OTP, your Aadhaar card details and the option to download Aadhaar will appear on your computer monitor or smart phone screen.
Click on the download option and save it for future reference.
What is Masked Aadhar Card
UIDAI has launched a new feature of Aadhaar, which has been named as Masked Aadhaar. Since there are 12 digits in the Aadhar card, but with the help of this masked Aadhar, you can hide the initial 8 digits of Aadhar. This means that only the last 4 digits of your Aadhar card will be visible.
