Reliance Jio has made a new debut in its portfolio of apps, and this one allows you to add ten people in your group voice calls

Reliance Jio massively entered the telecom industry two years back. There were a few factors which worked heavily in favour of Reliance Jio, and they include ultra-cheap tariffs, lots of free bundled offerings, fast internet speeds and the exclusive portfolio of apps. If you are a Reliance Jio user, then you know that it offers a lot of free applications for its users and the line-up of these apps only seems to be expanding day by day. On the same lines, Reliance Jio has launched a new application known as Reliance JioGroupTalk. As the name suggests, the app can be used to make group conference calls to your contacts.

Supports HD Voice Calling Facility

Reliance Jio has listed the JioGroupTalk application on Google Play Store as “One Touch Multi-Party Calling application exclusively for Jio Users” which is currently under a limited employee trial. However, soon the application will be available for usage by the common public for the long term as well. Reliance Jio has highlighted that Jio users will be able to add up to ten users to the conference call through this app. Unlike it is the case generally, users can decide to select all the ten participants of the conference call at once and then they can dial them all simultaneously. The app also extends support for HD voice calling so that you can be assured of excellent voice quality on the JioGroupTalk app.

How to Use JioGroupTalk App?

If you want to use the Reliance JioGroupTalk application, then you can download the same from the Google Play store and sign in using your Jio number. You will receive an OTP on your Jio number, which will be required for logging in. It is worth noting that the application currently remains under a trial period in the initial days. For the app to work correctly, you should ensure that you have the Jio SIM in your device with the VoLTE support with a proper and stable internet connection along with calling/SMS facility turned on. Once you have all these confirmed, you should be ready to use the GroupTalk application.

Features Like Lecture Mode, Reconnect Caller and More

Reliance Jio has also notified its subscribers that they will be able to add non-Jio subscribers to their GroupTalk conference calls. While the subscriber is making a conference call, they will also get the option of managing the call where they will be able to add caller, individually mute someone, group mute or reconnect caller. One interesting feature which the app will provide will be the ‘Lecture Mode’ where the rest of the users will be muted and one user will be able to speak while the others listen. The telco has also added that currently the app’s paradigm will only be limited to conference audio calls, and no video calls or group chats will be currently available. However, those are some features which the users can look forward to in the coming days.
