Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are one of the cutest couples from the South film industry. They are often seen indulging in PDA and making fans go aww on social media. Lately, they have been making headlines for their adorable photos and videos from their Goa vacay. For those unaware, Nayanthara has joined Vignesh and his family for a much-needed holiday post lockdown and the couple is ensuring to make the most of this quality time together.
Yesterday, Nayanthara surprised Vignesh by making super romantic arrangements for his birthday and we happened to notice something rather interesting. It’s the nickname that Nayanthara has for Vignesh. She calls him ‘Wikki’. Well, although Vignesh’s Instagram handle too goes by the same name, the fact Nayanthara mentioned it on the cake proves that she too lovingly calls him by the same name.

Nayanthara and Vignesh have been in a relationship for over 5 years now. It was in 2018 when Nayanthara first confirmed that she’s dating Vignesh. She had addressed Vignesh as her ‘fiancee’ at an awards function. Over the time, the couple has only grown stronger by the day. The are inseparable, to say the least. Both their families seem to have well accepted their relationship and the couple is likely to get married soon. Although there’s no official confirmation on the same as yet, buzz is that Nayanthara and Vignesh are planning to tie the knot at a temple in Tamil Nadu.
On Mother’s Day this year, Vignesh had addressed Nayanthara as the mother of his future children, further making fans wonder if the couple has already decided their wedding date.
On the professional front, Nayanthara was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Darbar’ and Vijay’s ‘Bigil’. She will be next seen in the devotional film ‘Mookuthi Amman’ and ‘Netrikann’ produced by Vignesh Shivan. She will also be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha in the upcoming movie ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ which again is said to be directed and produced by Vignesh Shivan.
