Rule Change From 1st September: There are only a few days left for the month of August to end. In such a situation, many big changes are seen from the new month, which directly affect the pockets of the common people. Some such special changes are going to happen from the month of September, which will affect your pocket. These changes include LPG gas cylinder prices to credit card rules. Also, there can be special announcements for government employees regarding Dearness Allowance. First change: LPG cylinder prices

It is often seen that on the first date of every month, the government changes the price of LPG. Changes are seen in the prices of commercial gas cylinders to cooking gas. In such a situation, a change in the price of LPG cylinder is expected this time too. Last month, the price of commercial LPG gas cylinder increased by Rs 8.50, while in July its price decreased by Rs 30.

Second change: ATF and CNG-PNG rates

Along with the prices of LPG cylinder, oil market companies also revise the prices of aviation fuel i.e. Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG. Due to this, a change in their price can be seen on the first date.

Third change: Rules related to fake calls

Fake calls and messages can be curbed from September 1. TRAI has directed telecom companies to curb fake calls and fake messages. For this, TRAI has issued a strict guideline. TRAI has asked telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL to shift telemarketing calls and commercial messaging starting from 140 mobile number series to blockchain based DLT i.e. Distributed Laser Technology Platform by 30 September. It is expected that fake calls will be stopped from September 1.

Fourth change: Credit card related rules

From September 1, HDFC Bank is going to fix the limit of reward points on utility transactions, under which customers can get only up to 2,000 points per month on these transactions. HDFC Bank will not give any reward for making educational payments through third party apps.

From September 2024, IDFC First Bank will reduce the minimum amount payable on credit card. The payment date will also be reduced from 18 to 15 days. Apart from this, a change – from September 1, 2024, customers using RuPay credit card for payment on UPI and other platforms will get the same reward points as those using credit cards of other payment service providers.

Fifth change: Dearness Allowance

A big announcement is likely for the central government employees in September. It is expected that the government can increase the dearness allowance by 3 percent for the employees. At present, dearness allowance (DA) is being given to government employees at 50 percent, while after the increase of 3 percent it will become 53 percent.

Sixth change: Free Aadhaar card update

The last date for updating Aadhaar card for free has been fixed as September 14. After this, you will not be able to update some things related to Aadhaar for free. After September 14, a fee will have to be paid to update Aadhaar. However, earlier the last date for updating Aadhaar for free was June 14, 2024, which was extended to September 14, 2024.
