LPG gas cylinder prices are fixed on the first date of every month. Last month, the government had reduced the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder. This time also it is expected that the government will reduce the price of cylinder.

HDFC Bank Credit Card Rules Changes – Transaction Charges

Customers using CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik, Freecharge and other such services to pay fare will be charged 1% on the transaction amount, limited to ₹3000 per transaction. Fuel transactions will not attract any extra charge for transactions less than ₹15,000 per transaction. However, transactions above ₹15,000 will attract a 1% charge on the entire amount, limited to ₹3,000 per transaction.

Utility transactions

No extra charge will be levied on transactions less than ₹50,000. Transactions above ₹50,000 will attract a 1% charge on the entire amount, limited to ₹3000 per transaction. It is important to note that insurance transactions are exempt from this charge. Payments made directly through college or school websites or their POS machines will be charge-free. However, transactions made through third party apps like CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik and others will attract a 1% charge, limited to ₹3000 per transaction. The late payment charge process has been revised depending on the outstanding amount from ₹100 to ₹1,300. Availing the Easy-EMI option at any online or offline store will attract an EMI processing charge of up to ₹299. HDFC Bank said that all the charges mentioned above are subject to GST as per government regulations. Apart from this, HDFC Bank will implement the changes in its Tata Neu Infinity and Tata Neu Plus credit cards from August 1, 2024. From August 1, 2024, users of Tata New Infinity HDFC Bank credit card will get 1.5% NewCoins on eligible UPI transactions made using Tata New UPI ID.

Google Maps changes rules, cuts charges by 70%

Google Maps has made significant changes to its rules in India, which will be applicable across the country from August 1, 2024. The company has reduced the charges for its services in India by up to 70 percent. Along with this, now Google Maps will charge in Indian rupees instead of dollars for its services. However, this change will not affect the general users as no additional charge has been levied for them.
