new Delhi. Many wrong information is being received among the Indian people about Corona Virus. With this, the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) has launched the chatbot, the Hindi version of the chatbot on WhatsApp. This fact checking chatbot was already available in English and Spanish. With the help of this chatbot, users will be able to ask questions related to Kovid-19 and can crosscheck it with the information published online. In this way, they will be able to know easily whether the information reached to them about Corona virus is true or false.
In this regard, IFCN has tied up with 11 Fact Checking Group of India. Of these, 7 groups publish content in Hindi. Based on the data base available in Hindi language, the first 250 fact checks will be completed. It will be updated everyday with new fact checks.

according to IFCN, now he has denied the 6600 rumors corona virus with 80 Fact checking institutions of 74 countries concerned so far. Users can access IFCN chatbot by saving +1 (727) 2912606 on their WhatsApp. They have to type ‘Namaste’ and send it to enable the Hindi version. This facility can also be availed through the portal.

According to WhatsApp, with the help of IFCN chatbot, users can check the fact. Based on the available databases, they will get enough information about the rumors. Verified factory checkers will be able to see messages sent directly to them. They will not be able to see or monitor or delete other information.
Central and state governments have also launched chatbots
In addition to IFCN chatbots, several state governments have launched Kovid — 19 bots on WhatsApp. Most of it is used to give correct information about the corona virus epidemic. The central government has also launched a chatbot named MyGov Corona Helpdesk on WhatsApp. The World Health Organization (WHO) has also launched a chatbot to provide information related to Kovid-19. Around 400 million people in India use WhatsApp.
