SAIL Recruitment 2022 Apply Online: Eligible candidates will have to appear in Computer Based Test (CBT) in Hindi/English on the due date. Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 100 objective type questions in 2 parts. There will be Technical Knowledge Test and General Aptitude Test.


SAIL Recruitment 2022 Notification: Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) – a Maharatna Public Sector Company and Assistant Manager, Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) in a leading steel making company in India ), Mining Foreman, Surveyor, Mining Mate, Fire Operator, Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver, Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee), Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) Jobs are out.

The posts are available for SAIL’s Plant at Rourkela, Odisha and its separate mines in Odisha (Odisha Group of Mines). Candidates can check the details of these posts here. You can apply for these posts from 6th September. Whereas the last date to apply is 30 September 2022. Talking about the age limit, the age of the candidate should be at least 18 years for all the posts. And the maximum age limit has been kept at 28 years.

Eligible candidates will have to appear in Computer Based Test (CBT) in Hindi/English on the due date. Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 100 objective type questions in 2 parts. There will be Technical Knowledge Test and General Aptitude Test.

Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online only through “Careers” page or through SAIL’s website www.sail.co.in at www.sailcareers.com . No other medium/mode of application will be accepted. Talking about the application fee, candidates of General OBC and EWS category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 700. Whereas SC / ST / PWD / ESM candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200.

Talking about the salary, then the Assistant Manager (Safety) from Rs 50000 to Rs 1.6 lakh per month, Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) (S-3) / Mining Foreman (S-3) / Surveyor (S-3) 26600 to 38920 per month, Mining Mate (S-1) – 25070 to 35070 per month, Fire Operator (Trainee) (S-3) / Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) (S-3) – 1st year Rs.16,100 for the second year and Rs.18,300 for the second year, Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee) (S-1) / Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (S-1) / Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) ( HMV) (S-1) to Rs.12,900 for the first year and Rs.15,000 for the second year.
