Dubai, agencies. Saudi Arabia said that hajj will not be canceled this year, but only a limited number of people will be allowed to participate in the corona virus. The Saudi Arabian Sultanate said on Tuesday that it would allow only those from different countries to join the Hajj who are already living in the Mulk. However, the government did not say how many people would be allowed to join. The annual Haj pilgrimage will begin in late July this year.

The official statement said that all protective measures will also be adopted to prevent corona infection among the people. Around 2 million Muslims from around the world usually gather in Saudi Arabia’s Mecca for Hajj, but due to the Corona epidemic this time the number of devotees will be very less. Please tell that Saudi Arabia has never canceled Hajj since its inception in almost 90 years. There are five basic pillars of the religion of Islam, including Hajj. Every Muslim wishes to perform Haj at least once in their life.

This time Saudi Arabia’s decision is clear that Muslims from other countries will not be able to go to Saudi Arabia to perform Haj. Anyway, due to the Corona crisis this year, the Haj pilgrimage was being postponed but now it will be limited in number. In view of the increasing corona infection worldwide, Saudi Arabia banned the ‘Umrah’ visit to Mecca in February. This decision was taken to prevent the spread of the corona virus in the holy city of Mecca and Medina. However this trip can be done throughout the year.

Instructions have been issued to take special care to about 1,560 mosques in Mecca city which have come out of restrictions. The branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs has stated in its order that people must bring their mat to offer mosque prayers and observe physical distance during namaz. Instructions have also been issued to the people in the holy city to follow strict health-related precautions. The ministry entrusted the responsibility of cleanliness in all the mosques to the agencies for the removal of restrictions from the city. Due to the Corona crisis, strict restrictions were in force in the city for the last three months.
