Fact Check Twitter handle is being run by the government to make people aware, it verifies such links and tells their reality. For the last few days, people are being told about getting messages in the name of SBI. In this message, the account holder is being asked to update the PAN number.

Through the Twitter handle of PIB Fact Check, people were told that in the message being sent to the customers in the name of SBI, it is being said to update the PAN. The message states that if the PAN is not updated, the account will be blocked. Here’s how to never respond to such e-mails and SMS. Here, while making the bank customers aware, it was told that the bank never asks for your personal and banking details on SMS.
