If you have a savings account with SBI and you have not linked your PAN card with your account, then do this work immediately.


New Delhi. PAN Card has become a very important document today. Financial work is now almost impossible without it. From filing Income Tax Return (ITR) to opening a bank account, starting a business and buying and selling properties, it has now become necessary. Linking PAN card with your Aadhar card and bank account is an important task. Failure to do so may result in fines. If you have a savings account with SBI and you have not linked your PAN card with your account, then do this work immediately.

How to link PAN Card with SBI Savings Account through Internet Banking –

Step 1: First of all, go to the official website www.onlinesbi.com.
Step 2: Go to Profile-PAN Registration under My Accounts.
Step 3: Select Account Number and PAN Number and click on Submit.
Step 4: Your request will now be forwarded to SBI branch for processing
Step 5: Your request will be processed within 7 days.
Step 6: Linking status will be intimated on your registered mobile number.

How to link PAN card with SBI savings account by visiting SBI branch

Step 1: Visit your nearest SBI branch.
Step 2: Carry a copy of your PAN card with you.
Step 3: Fill the Letter of Request.
Step 4: Submit it along with the Xerox copy of PAN card.
Step 5: After verification the process will be completed.
Step 6: You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number about the linking status.
