State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest bank, has alerted its customers to stay away from four apps, otherwise the account will become empty. In four months, 150 customers of State Bank have suffered more than 70 lakhs due to these apps. Fraudsters get trapped in the things and download the app and clear the account.
In view of the increasing incidents, State Bank has asked its account holders not to forget AnyDesk, Quick Support, Teamviewer and Mingleview apps and install them on their mobiles. SBI has also cautioned its account holders about the Unified Payment System and asked not to accept UPI collect requests or QR codes from any unknown source.
Don’t forget to search helpline numbers from unknown websites, as more than half a dozen fake websites are running in the name of SBI. For any solution visit the official website only and share your information only after checking properly.
The bank has advised the customers that the bank sends SMS after every digital transaction. If you have not done the transaction then immediately forward that message to the number given in SMS.
