Many customers have complained about this to the bank. After this, clarification has been given by issuing a statement on behalf of the bank.
What is the message: A Twitter user wrote, ‘YONO SBI app is spamming me with loan messages. Please look into this and it’s not even my name. Something is going wrong here.” Another user tagged the official handle of SBI, “YONO Lite is spamming through information with different names for SBI Instant Personal Loan. Please look into this. ”

What the bank said: After receiving several complaints regarding the glitch, SBI issued a statement, “Due to technical issues, some users are receiving incorrect notification messages in the YONO Lite application. We are working to fix this issue as soon as possible.”
Last Thursday, SBI had said that it is planning a separate digital entity. At the same time, it will revamp its existing mobile application named ‘Only YONO’.
