SBI Amrit Vrishti FD: The country’s largest public sector bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has launched a new term deposit scheme ‘Amrit Vrishti’. It gives the benefit of attractive interest rates to the investors. This scheme has started from 15 July 2024 and will be available till 31 March 2025. In this, investors will deposit their money for 444 days. This scheme can make common people and senior citizens rich in 444 days.
Benefits of Amrit Vrishti Yojana
Interest rates
- In this scheme, general customers will get interest at the rate of 7.25% per annum.
- Senior citizens will get interest at the rate of 7.75% per annum, giving more benefits.
Minimum and maximum investment
- The minimum investment amount in this scheme is ₹ 1,000. There is no limit on maximum investment.
- This scheme is for both domestic and non-resident Indians (NRIs).
Premature withdrawal:
- If customers withdraw an amount up to ₹ 5 lakh prematurely, a penalty of 0.50% will be charged.
- The penalty rate on withdrawal from ₹ 5 lakh to ₹ 3 crore will be 1%.
- There is no penalty on premature withdrawal for bank employees and SBI pensioners.
Loan facility
Under this scheme, customers can also take a loan on their deposit amount, it will be useful in emergency.
How to invest
- Customers can invest in this scheme using SBI branches, YONO SBI and YONO Lite mobile apps, or SBI internet banking.
- No separate product code is required for this scheme. The scheme will start automatically when the period of 444 days is selected.
