Bank Alert: Cyber criminals are adopting new methods to cheat people. Due to lack of knowledge of these methods, people become victims of banking fraud.
New Delhi. The cases of banking fraud are increasing continuously in the country. These frauds are making people a victim of their fraud in new ways. Banks like State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda (BoB) constantly warn people to avoid such frauds.
In this episode, SBI and Bank of Baroda have shared tips for safe banking with their customers so that account holders become alert. SBI tweeted, “Security by disabling unused features and explore every security feature available on your Internet Banking for a safe and smooth online banking experience with us!”

Bank of Baroda has shared a short video on Twitter regarding account safety tips. The bank said through the post, “Just as you ensure your safety in the rain, you can also ensure the safety of your bank account by following the tips given in this video.”
Tips issued by BoB
1. Do not click on any unverified UPI link.
2. Do not share your OTP, ATM PIN or UPI PIN with anyone.
3. Don’t fall for the tempting offers on social media.
4. Enter sensitive data on secure websites i.e. website should start with ‘http://’ with an icon of locked lock.
