How to start internet banking
Earlier, the account holder had to visit the branch for net banking facility. There a form had to be filled. Then one had to wait for a pre-printed kit of instructions before starting the facility. In case of no time to visit SBI branch, you can now register for SBI netbanking facility from home. This work can be done completely online. Here we are telling how?
- Go to the homepage of SBI Net Banking onlinesbi.com.
- After this click on “New User Registration/Activation”.
- Enter Account Number, CIF Number, Branch Code, Country, Registered Mobile Number, Required Facility and Click on “Submit” Button.
- After this OTP will come on the registered number.
- Now select the ATM card and if you do not have an ATM card then the bank completes the further process.
- Note down the temporary username and create a login password. (Use special word with eight words in the password) Re-enter the password and click on submit to complete the registration process.
- Log in with the temporary username and new password.
- Create a username of your choice which will be your permanent username.
- After accepting the terms and conditions and set login password and profile password and select few questions and create answer.
- Enter Date of Birth, Place of Birth and Registered Mobile Number.

If you have already registered user and have forgotten the password, then follow this method
1. Visit www.onlinesbi.com.
2. Click on ‘Forgot Login Password’ option. After that click on ‘Next’ on the next page.
3. Now submit your SBI NetBanking username, account number, country, registered mobile number, date of birth and captcha in the space provided.
4. Now an OTP will come on your mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on Confirm.
5. Now there will be 3 options to reset the login password. These three options
