SBI Bank News: The entire digital service of SBI will be closed for a few hours on 6-7 August. During this time customers will not be able to do online transactions.

SBI Bank News: If you are a State Bank of India (SBI) customer and use internet banking, then there is important news for you. The country’s largest bank has said that its online banking or digital service will be closed for a few hours on 6-7 August. This will happen due to under-maintenance activities. Apart from internet banking, customers will not be able to use SBI digital services platform including YONO, YONO Lite and YONO Business.

If you have to do the transaction between 6th and 7th August, then do it before or after the time. SBI’s digital banking platform will be affected between 22.45 hrs on 6th August to 01.15 hrs on 7th August.

The bank has given information about this by tweeting. In its tweet, SBI has written that we request our esteemed customers to stay with us as we strive to provide better banking experience.

Posting an announcement along with the tweet, SBI said- We will conduct maintenance activities between 22.45 hrs on 6th August and 01.15 hrs on 7th August (150 mins). During this time, Internet Banking / YONO / YONO Lite / YONO Business will not be available. We are sorry for this inconvenience. You are requested to stay with us.

Online banking will be safe

With this maintenance being done by SBI, all online platforms will be more safe and smart. According to the news, with this initiative of SBI, YONO and YONO Lite platforms will work only on those devices whose mobile numbers have SIM registered with the bank. The bank also advises every user to keep updating the app on their device.
