Now the thugs are weaving a new web to rob people in the name of KYC update. Recently, Reddit post revealed the scam related to fake SBI credit card KYC update. In the post, it has been told through the screenshot that the thugs are stealing their personal and financial information by sending a fake link to the people through WhatsApp.
This is how the fraud starts
Scammers send a link on people’s WhatsApp, which says ‘SBI Credit Card E-KYC Update’ but as soon as the victim clicks on this link, he reaches a fake website instead of SBI’s website, which is built on a free website building platform like Wix.

After the screenshots related to the fraud went viral, people are giving interesting answers on social media. One user has written, “Ex pari hai woh, the scammer is talking about his ex.” Another user said, “They do this deliberately to filter out smart people.” One user even joked, “Brother is in dire need of English coaching classes and a dictionary.”
