State Bank of India is offering 7.1% interest on its new FD scheme ‘Amrit Kalash’. At the same time, senior citizens will get 7.6 percent interest. But you can take advantage of this scheme only till 31 March 2023.

SBI launched this special FD scheme on February 15 and it will be available till March 31, 2023. This new Fixed Deposit scheme is for a period of 400 days.

How much interest will be earned on FD of 1 lakh in 400 days?

In a tweet, SBI said, “Offering “Amrit Kalash Deposit” for domestic and NRI customers with attractive interest rates with a tenor of 400 days.” If you make an FD in this special scheme, then in a period of 400 days, on a deposit of Rs 1 lakh, common investors will get a total interest of Rs 8,017, while for senior citizens this amount will be Rs 8,600.

How to apply

In this scheme, which started from February 15, 2023, FD can be made till March 31, 2023. Under the scheme, common people will get 7.10 percent and senior citizens will get 7.60 percent interest. At the same time, the employees and pensioners of the bank are getting 1 percent more interest. You can apply for FD by visiting any branch of State Bank of India. Apart from this, sitting at home can also invest through SBI YONO app.

SBI Amrit Kalash scheme is very beneficial for those people who want to invest their money somewhere for a period of 1 to 2 years. Senior citizens are also getting strong returns by investing in it.
