For this you have to follow some process.

When you are about to activate your internet banking with SBI account, first make sure that mobile number is registered with your savings account. If this is not the case then you will not be able to activate internet banking service sitting at home. Then for this you have to go to the branch of your bank.

Activate internet banking like this

• Visit the official website of SBI www.onlinesbi.com.
• On opening the home page, click on New User Registration/ present in PERSONAL BANKING
• On clicking, a pop up will appear, in which you will be asked not to proceed if you have received a pre-printed kit from the bank to activate Internet Banking. If the kit is not found, click the OK button.
• On the new page opened on this, click on Next with New User Register.
• Now on the new page you will be asked for bank details. In this, you will have to give information about the bank account number, CIF number, branch code, country, mobile number registered with the bank account. Then by going to the Facility Required section, select any one of the given three types of transaction options and enter the captcha and click on the submit button.

On doing this a One Time Password (OTP) comes on your mobile phone, it has to be given. After this you have to set your User ID and Password. After successful process you get registered on net banking platform of SBI. Now you can use it by logging in to SBI Net Banking.
