State Bank of India has issued a new notification on Friday, alerting all the customers. SBI has said that due to maintenance work on September 4 and 5, 7 services including internet banking will be stalled for a few hours.

SBI tweeted the information
Tweeting from its official Twitter account, SBI said, ‘Maintenance activities will run from 11:35 pm on 4th September to 01:35 pm on 5th September. Internet Banking, YONO, YONO Lite, YONO Business and IMPS and UPI services will not be available during this period.

Services were also disrupted in July
Earlier, SBI had issued a similar alert for 16 and 17 July, after which these services were not available from 10:45 pm to 1:15 pm (150 minutes). According to the information given by SBI, these services were interrupted to upgrade the UPI platform, so as to improve the customer experience. The service was restarted as soon as the job was done.
35 million users of SBI Yono
Let us tell you that every time this information is given to the customers by the bank in advance so that they can complete their important work on time. According to the official website, SBI YONO currently has a total of 35 million registered users. Due to such a large number of customers, SBI does the maintenance work during night time so that least number of customers are affected. The total number of UPI users of SBI is more than 13.5 crore. Out of this, the number of Internet banking customers is 85 million and the number of mobile banking users is 19 million.
