There is big news for the customers of State Bank of India, the country’s largest government bank. SBI customers will not be able to use internet banking services due to scheduled activity. However, nothing has been mentioned about the YONO app whether its service will be available or not. SBI has given this information on the official website
According to SBI website, the services of Internet Banking Application will not be available between 00:40 hrs to 02:10 hrs on 14.10.2023 due to scheduled activity. However, for basic services one can avail the services of WhatsApp Banking.
This step was taken for safety
Apart from this, the country’s largest public sector bank SBI has started mandatory profile password change after 365 days for extra security. Customers who have installed ‘SBI Secure OTP App’ on their mobile and have completed the registration process will now receive the login OTP for OnlineSBI.com on the app instead of SMS OTP.
