Now, SBI, the country’s largest bank, has facilitated the activation of ATM cards at home.
This way you can activate ATMs
You don’t have to go to activate the card at the bank’s brand or ATM. You should only have a 16 digit ATM number by logging on to SBI’s Internet Banking portal.

Follow These Steps
Once logged in, you need to go to atm card service option under e-Services tab on EBI online.
The tab has several options. You’ll need to click the ATM Card Service link and open that tab.
Select the account from which the ATM card was issued If you have only one account, it will be pre-selected.
Enter a 16-digit ATM card number twice in the given field, and click Activate.
Next, you’ll be asked to verify details such as account type and branch location. The ATM card has been successfully activated after confirming the same.
