SBI’s Platinum Deposits scheme. On the other hand, domestic retail term deposits including NRE and NRO term deposits (less than Rs 2 crore) can avail this scheme.

is known as We Care. Pays extra 30 bps interest to senior citizens on FDs of 5 years and above. If a senior citizen makes a fixed deposit under the Special FD Scheme, then the interest rate applicable on the FD will be 6.20 percent.
