Generate PIN through IVR
SBI has made this work easier through its contact centers. Through IVR of these centres, customers can generate Debit Card PIN or Green PIN. For this, you have to call the toll-free number 1800-11-22-11 or 1800-425-3800 from the registered mobile number. After calling here, SBI customers will have to press 2 for ATM/Debit card related services. After this, 1 has to be pressed to generate the PIN.
You can also talk to the agent
If he is calling from the registered mobile number then 1 has to be pressed. Press 2 to talk to the agent. If someone is calling from a registered mobile, then after pressing 1 he has to enter the last five digits. These 5 digits will be of the ATM card for which he wants to generate Green PIN. Again 1 has to be pressed to confirm the last five digits. After that, 2 has to be pressed to re-enter the last five digits of the ATM card.
PIN to be changed in 24 hours
After this, you have to enter the year of your birth. With this, the green PIN of SBI customer will be generated. This PIN will be sent to the registered mobile number. At the same time, this PIN will have to be changed by visiting any SBI ATM within 24 hours. If multiple CIFs (customer information file) are linked to the registered mobile number, then the IVR contact center will transfer the call to the agent.
