ATM Cash Withdrawal New Changes: See how much charge and tax will be imposed for withdrawing money from ATM, know all charges

New Delhi. SBI OTP based cash withdrawal: If you are a State Bank of India customer then there is an important information for you. SBI has added another step in the process of cash withdrawal for its customers.

This step is actually to strengthen the security (Customer Safety). Till now, we have seen many times that by cloning the ATM card or in some other way, the thugs used to withdraw money from the ATM. But now this will not happen.

Now you will also have to enter an OTP while withdrawing from the ATM machine. You will get this OTP on your registered mobile number and it will be necessary to enter it after your ATM PIN. If you do not enter this OTP then you will not be able to withdraw money. Now understand that if someone wants to withdraw money from your card, then he too will not be able to withdraw money without your permission, because now the OTP coming on your mobile number will play an important role in this.

With this feature brought by State Bank of India, now a strong arrangement has been made for the security of the customers. Using ATM has also become more secure now than before. State Bank of India has said that a new layer of security has been established regarding the cash withdrawal of its customers.

OTP is not required at other bank’s ATM

For your information, let us tell you that this feature will work only and only on SBI ATM machines. If you are an SBI customer and try to withdraw money from any other bank’s ATM, then this feature will not work. This means that if you withdraw money from any other bank’s ATM, then you will not need to enter OTP.

This new feature has been developed by National Switch (NFS). It is the largest interoperable ATM network in the country. It handles over 95 per cent of domestic inter-bank ATM transactions.

How will work

>>First of all you have to go to SBI Bank ATM.
>> Do the same complete process of withdrawing money.
>>Finally an OTP will come to your number.
>> This OTP has to be entered in a box on the screen of the machine.
>>After this you will be able to withdraw money.
