The country’s largest bank, State Bank of India, has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 600 Probationary Officers. This notification has been published on the official website of the bank (sbi.co.in) on 26 December. Any candidate who wants to apply for these posts can apply by visiting its official website.
The application process for Probationary Officers posts has started from 27 December. Candidates can apply for this post till 16 January 2025. After this the application will not be accepted.
How will these posts be recruited
For the recruitment of Probationary Officers, candidates will have to appear in the exam in three phases. There will be a preliminary examination in the first phase, followed by the second phase main examination, then in the third phase psychometric test, group exercise and interview will be taken. Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Phase 2 and Phase 3.
Who can apply for this post
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any subject from any recognized university of India. Candidates who are waiting for their result after giving the final year examination of graduation can also apply in this. After passing the bank exam, the candidate will have to show his passing degree or else your candidature can also be terminated.
Age limit to apply
To apply for these posts, the age of the candidates should be between 21 to 30 years (by 01 April 2024). There is also a provision for age relaxation for reserved categories, which is as follows, SC/ST will be given 5 years, OBC (non-creamy layer) will be given 3 years and 10 to 15 years relaxation as per PWD category. To apply for this post, people of UR/OBC/EWS category will have to pay a fee of Rs 750, while SC/ST/PwBD people will not have to pay any fee. Candidates can pay their application fee through online mode like debit card, credit card or net banking.
