Who can open an account?

Permanent resident who is above 18 years of age and educated. Who is a new bank customer or who does not have SBI’s CIF. Customers who have an active bank account or CIF are not eligible for this account. This facility is available only for single mode.

This is the process

  • Download the YONO app to open SBI savings account through video KYC.
  • Now in the app, select the New to SBI option.
  • Select Open Savings Account and then tap on the option without branch visit.
  • Enter your PAN and Aadhaar card details.
  • Enter the OTP sent to your number.
  • Fill in all the required details.
  • Make a video call.
  • Log in to the YONO app through resume at the scheduled time.
  • Complete the video KYC process.
  • After verification by bank officials, your Insta Plus savings account will be opened for debit transactions and activated.

Online SBI Features

You can open SBI Insta Plus Saving Bank Account through video KYC. There is no need to go to the bank to open the account, only documents like Aadhaar and PAN are required. Not only this, customers will be able to transfer funds through NEFT, IMPS, UPI, and other methods through YONO app or online SBI i.e. internet banking. Once the account is opened, a classic Rupay debit card will be issued.
