SBI Special Scheme: State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public sector bank, is running five schemes keeping in mind the needs of the customers. SBI Bank is running SBI Amrit Kalash, SBI Wecare, SBI Annuity, SBI Green Term Deposit and SBI Best schemes keeping senior citizens in mind.

SBI Bank is running SBI Amrit Kalash, SBI Wecare, SBI Annuity, SBI Green Term Deposit and SBI Best schemes keeping the senior citizens in mind. SBI is offering 7.9 percent interest through these schemes.
1. SBI Best Plan
In SBI Sarvottam scheme, customers are getting 7.4 percent interest on 2 year deposit i.e. FD. This interest rate is for the general public. At the same time, senior citizens are getting 7.90 percent interest on this scheme. At the same time, the general public is getting 7.10 percent interest and senior citizens are getting 7.60 percent interest on one year investment. The annual yield for the best 1 year deposit of Rs 15 lakh to above Rs 2 crore for senior citizens is 7.82 per cent. Whereas, the yield for two-year deposits is 8.14 percent. On bulk deposits of Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore, SBI is offering 7.77 per cent interest for 1 year and 7.61 per cent for 2 years to senior citizens. You cannot withdraw money prematurely in SBI Sarvottam scheme. These are non-callable schemes in which money cannot be withdrawn prematurely. If you withdraw money before time, you will have to pay a charge. Compound interest is available in this.
2. SBI Amrit Kalash Scheme
SBI’s Amrit Kalash Yojana is a special FD scheme. The bank is giving 7.10% interest on it. This is only a 400 day FD on which the interest is 7.10 percent. That is, it is offering you more interest in FD of less period. According to the bank’s website, anyone can invest in Amrit Kalash Special Scheme and get guaranteed returns. According to SBI Bank, Amrit Kalash FD investors can take monthly, quarterly and half yearly interest payments. According to SBI website, if the money deposited in Amrit Kalash FD is withdrawn before the period of 400 days, the bank can deduct 0.50% to 1% interest rate less than the applicable rate as penalty. The last date to invest in this is 31 March 2024.
3. SBI Wecare FD Scheme
SBI recently announced that the deadline for investment in the WeCare FD scheme is till 31 March 2024. SBI is offering the best interest to its customers on its WeCare FD. The bank gives 0.50 more interest on any FD to senior citizens than a normal customer. SBI Wecare is getting 7.50% interest. Investments under the scheme are made for a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years. These rates will be available on new and renewable FDs.
4. SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit
Under SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit, senior citizens get 7.15 percent interest. This interest will be available on FD of 1111 and 1777 days. The bank is giving 7.4 percent interest on FD of 2222 days. It is offering 6.65 percent interest on FD of 1111 days and 1777 days and 6.40 percent interest on FD of 2222 days to the general people. In this scheme of SBI, money can be purchased by visiting the branch or from YONO site.
5. SBI Annuity Scheme
SBI is offering annuity deposit scheme to its customers. In this, income is earned in monthly income installments (EMI). EMI can be availed by depositing money once in SBI’s annual deposit scheme. This scheme is also called monthly annuity installment. In this, the period of deposit is 3, 5, 7, or 10 years. Interest is available on this. This scheme is a good opportunity for you to earn extra income.
