SBI will allow its employees to ‘work from anywhere’ amidst obstacles created by the Corona crisis. SBI Chairman Rajnish Kumar said at the 65th annual general meeting of the bank on Tuesday that the infrastructure would be developed for this facility. It is expected to save Rs 1,000 crore in its costs.
He said the entire focus of the bank will be on reducing costs, rationalizing the workforce, and revamping new skills, improving productivity and relocating from administrative offices to redeployment to sales offices.
