SBI’s Special FD: Last chance to invest in SBI’s 400 day FD, getting huge interest.

SBI Amrit Kalash FD: The last date to invest in SBI’s Amrit Kalash FD is March 31, 2024. This is the highest return giving FD of SBI.


SBI Amrit Kalash FD: The last date to invest in ‘Amrit Kalash’, the highest interest paying 400 day FD of State Bank of India (SBI) is March 31, 2024. On investing in this FD, interest of 7.1 percent is being given to general citizens and 7.6 percent to senior citizens.

SBI also provides premature withdrawal facility to investors in this FD. If a person withdraws money prematurely, a penalty of 0.5 percent to 1 percent is charged. Interest in Amrit Kalash FD is paid on monthly, quarterly and half yearly basis.

Interest rates on normal FD in SBI

SBI is offering FDs ranging from 7 days to 10 years. In this, general investors are being given interest ranging from 3.50 percent to 7 percent. At the same time, senior citizens are being given interest ranging from 4 percent to 7.50 percent.

  • From 46 days to 179 days – 4.75 percent
  • From 180 days to 210 days – 5.75 percent
  • From 210 days to less than a year – 6 percent

  • From two years to less than three years – 7 percent
  • Three years to less than 5 years – 6.75 percent
  • From five years to 10 years – 6.50 percent

Senior Investor (above 60 years)

  • From 7 days to 45 days – 4 percent
  • From 46 days to 179 days – 5.25 percent
  • From 180 days to 210 days – 6.25 percent
  • From 210 days to less than a year – 6.5 percent
  • One year to less than two years -7.3 percent
  • From two years to less than three years – 7.5 percent
  • Three years to less than 5 years – 7.25 percent
  • From five years to 10 years – 7.50 percent
