School Closed: All primary schools are being closed for 15 days. This is the winter vacation that students get every year.
School Closed: All primary schools in Uttar Pradesh will be closed for 15 days from today i.e. 31 December 2024. This winter holiday has been declared after the completion of half the annual examination on 28 December. During this time, students can enjoy winter with family and can also plan to travel.
Teachers have also given 15 days of homework to the students so that the process of study continues. After these holidays, schools will open again on their normal time on 15 January 2024. At the same time, schools in Meerut have been announced to be closed till today, 30 December for students up to class eight.
Severe cold in North India, dense fog will last for 3 days
The outbreak of cold has increased due to icy winds coming from the mountains in North India. Cold has affected the lives of people in many areas including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog will prevail for the next three days. Also, the minimum temperature is likely to fall to six degrees in the next two days.
It has been advised to take special care of children in this winter season. Experts have said that children need to wear warm clothes and take necessary precautions to avoid cold.
This time of holidays is a great opportunity for children not only to relax but also to spend time with family. However, efforts have been made to keep children connected to studies through homework.
The havoc of winter is likely to increase further
The Meteorological Department has warned that cold may increase further in North India. Traffic may be affected due to cold and fog. Therefore, people have been appealed to be cautious and avoid going out of the house without any important work.
