School Closed: In view of the huge crowd of devotees returning from Prayagraj Mahakumbh, the Varanasi district administration has ordered to keep all schools up to class eight closed till February 8. During this time online classes of children will run. This order has been given by the Varanasi District Magistrate.

In fact, a large number of devotees from Prayagraj Mahakumbh are reaching to visit Kashi Vishwanath, due to which there is a traffic jam on the roads of the city. Due to the crowd of devotees at Kashi Vishwanath and Ganga Ghats, vehicles going to school have to pass through heavy traffic jam, due to which the Varanasi district administration has decided to keep the schools closed and run online classes. However, teachers and other staff can be present in the school.

More than 35 lakh devotees arrived in 6 days

Let us tell you that due to the reversal of Maha Kumbh, more than 35 lakh devotees have arrived in Kashi to visit Baba Vishwanath in the last 6 days. If we talk about the last one month, then this number is more than one crore. The administration estimates that this number may increase further in the coming days. Due to which many precautionary measures have been taken. Entry of outside vehicles in the city has been banned. Arrangements have been made to park them outside the city limits.
