After Delhi, now in view of the air getting worse day by day in Noida, District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has issued an order that all board classes up to class nine will not be conducted offline till November 10. Grape four was imposed in Delhi NCR on Sunday. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the rule of grape four. Schools can conduct online classes. Classes from class 10 to 12 will be conducted offline only. Some schools had already started online classes.
The administration of Delhi Public School, Greater Noida West, had on Sunday decided to conduct online classes from classes nursery to nine till November 9. At the same time, classes up to class five are already running online in Delhi Public School located in Sector 122, Noida.
The air quality in Delhi on Tuesday was recorded in the “very poor” category. Delhi Air Quality Index (AQI) has been recorded at 394 while AQI was recorded at 421 at 4 pm on Monday. Despite a slight decline in pollution levels, the concentration of PM2.5 (fine particles that can penetrate deep into the respiratory system when inhaled and cause respiratory problems) remained seven to seven above the safe limit of 60 micrograms per cubic metre. It was eight times more.
This is 30 to 40 times higher than the healthy limit (15 micrograms per cubic metre) set by the World Health Organization (WHO). AQI was recorded at 338 in Ghaziabad, 364 in Gurugram, 348 in Noida, 439 in Greater Noida and 382 in Faridabad.
