School Holiday: The Directorate of Education (DoE) has released the calendar for the academic session 2025-26 for the Delhi government and government-aided schools. In this calendar, summer and winter break holidays have been announced.

Delhi School Holiday: The dates of summer vacation in Delhi schools have been announced. The Directorate of Education (DoE) has released the calendar for the academic session 2025-26 for the Delhi government and government-aided schools. In this calendar, summer and winter break holidays have been announced.

Summer holidays: Students will get 51 days holiday

According to the released academic calendar, summer holidays will start from May 11 and will run till June 30, 2025. These holidays of total 51 days will provide relief from the heat of Delhi. During this time, students can not only spend time with family, but can also enhance their educational abilities, travel and develop their hobbies. Teachers will be present in schools for three days from 28 June to 30 June.

Other holidays:

29 September (Monday) to 1 October (Wednesday)

Winter break: 1 January 2026 (Thursday) to 15 January 2026 (Thursday)

Guidelines for schools

Games should be included regularly in the class at pre-primary and primary level. Monthly assessment of students should be done at the end of every month and recorded in the CPT module. Monthly in-house meetings will be mandatory for assistant teachers (nursery and primary). Timetable should be strictly implemented in each class. Art integration should be included in regular studies.
