Summer School Holidays: A great news has come out for the students of Madhya Pradesh. The state government has announced summer holidays for the academic session 2025-26 . According to the order issued by the Education Department , all students will get holidays from 1 May to 15 June 2025. This decision will be applicable to all government and private schools . That is, this time the children will get a full 45 days of holidays, so that they will not only be able to relax but will also get a chance to spend time with their hobbies and family.

Teachers will get one month relief during Summer School Holidays

There is a relief news for teachers as well as students. Summer vacation for teachers will be from 1 May to 31 May 2025. That is, teachers will get a total of one month leave . After this, they will have to be present in school so that the preparations for the upcoming session can be completed on time. This time will also be an opportunity for teachers to re-energize and strengthen the plans .

Orders will be applicable in all schools

This order issued by the government will be equally applicable to all schools in Madhya Pradesh . That is, whether a school is government or private , it will be mandatory for all to follow this holiday program. The education department has taken this step keeping in mind the mental and physical health of the students so that they can take better rest in the summer season and can again engage in studies with new energy.

Along with summer vacations, the state government has also announced other festivals and winter vacations. According to this:

  • Dussehra Holiday : Will be from 1 October to 3 October 2025.
  • Diwali Holiday : From 18 October to 23 October 2025.
  • Winter Vacation : Declared from 31 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.

During these holidays, schools will remain completely closed and students will be able to celebrate their festivals with their families. This will also strengthen the cultural and family bonding of children.

What will be the operations in schools during the holidays?

During the vacation of students and teachers, teaching and learning will remain closed in most schools. Although some private schools may organize programs like summer camps, special coaching or creative classes during summer vacations , but participation of students in these will be voluntary .

Parents are advised to engage their children in as many creative activities as possible during this time so that they remain mentally and physically active.
