CG School Holiday: There is good news for students going to school in the scorching heat of Chhattisgarh. The education department has declared summer vacation from April 25. An order has been issued in this regard. The summer vacation order will be applicable to all private and government schools.
Heat wave is blowing in the state due to severe heat. The temperature has reached around 44. Regarding this, the education department has announced summer vacation five days ago. According to the order, keeping in view the possibility of adverse effects on the health of students due to the severe heat and heat wave in the state, the state government has made partial amendments in the summer vacation declared for government, grant-in-aid, non-grant-in-aid, private schools. Under which summer vacation has been declared from April 25 to June 15. This order will not be applicable to teachers. The remaining clauses of the departmental order of even number will remain unchanged.
On the other hand, summer classes being held in the school will be closed. The state education department has withdrawn the order to organize summer camps keeping in mind the health of children and teachers. Initially, this summer class was held with the aim of revising the previous studies of the students and preparing for the new session.
The summer class was to develop qualities like leadership, confidence and creativity in children. In view of the scorching heat in the state, the teacher organizations as well as the families of the students opposed it. After this, the order to organize summer camps has been withdrawn.
