School Holiday 2023-24: There is relief news for school students from class nursery to 8th. After the sudden change in weather in UP, Aligarh District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh has ordered the Basic Education Officer in-charge to close all the schools today on 28th November. As per orders, all schools of Aligarh will remain closed on November 28 due to excessive smog and pollution. Schools from classes nursery to class eight of all the boards including CBSE, ICSE, UP board falling under the Municipal Corporation limits will remain closed on November 28.
Winter vacation declared in Jammu
Jammu administration has issued orders for winter vacation for schools, under this, winter vacation for students up to class 8th will start from November 28. Winter vacation for students of classes 9 to 12 will start from December 11. This leave term for all students will end on 29th February 2024. All government and recognized private schools of Kashmir division will observe winter vacation for about three months. However, teachers will have to return to their respective schools on February 21 due to arrangements for the upcoming examinations. Due to continuous holidays, teachers will now teach students online from home.
Holiday calendar declared for Bihar schools
Bihar Education Department has also released the holiday calendar for the year 2024.
Under this, holidays have not been given on Janamashmi, Bhaidooj, Rakshabandhan, Haritalika Teej, whereas in Urdu schools, holidays have not been given on Guru Gobind Singh Birthday, Republic Day, Sant Ravidas Jayanti, Bihar Day, Good Friday, Bhimrao Ambedkar Birthday, Shab-e-Baraat, Buddha 1 day holiday has been given on Purnima, Kabir Jayanti, Independence Day, Hazrat Mohammad Sahib Birthday, Durga Puja (Saptami), Diwali, Christmas and Chehallum.
2 days holiday has been given in Holi, Moharram and Durga Puja. 3 days holiday has been given in Eid ul Fitr (Eid), 3 days holiday has been given in Eid ul Zuha (Bakrid).
