How long will the winter holidays last in Himachal?
- As per the orders of the Education Department, there will be a total of 17 days of winter vacation in schools. Under this, there will be holidays from 26th December to 11th January and schools will start from 12th January.
- There will be a holiday in Outer Seraj from 1st January to 15th February and schools will start in Outer Seraj on 16th February.
- Under the orders of the Higher Education Department, there will be a holiday in colleges from 1 January to 5 February. After this, schools will be opened from 6 February.
Public holiday on 28th in Punjab also
The Punjab government has also declared December 28 as a public holiday in the state. According to the notification, keeping in mind the Shaheed Sabha Shri Fatehgarh Sahib, all government offices, municipal corporations, boards, schools, colleges and other government institutions in Punjab will remain completely closed on 28th December (Thursday).
Winter vacation in MU too
Winter vacation in Aligarh Muslim University will be from January 1 to January 10, 2024. The schedule of holidays for Medical and Unani Medicine, BDS III- Final final year etc. has also been released. AMU and its institutions Malappuram, Murshidabad and Kishanganj centers (except the Faculties of Medicine and Unani Medicine) will observe winter vacation from January 1 to January 10, 2024.
