School Holidays 2025: Schools in Uttar Pradesh, Varanasi, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other states will remain closed in February due to various reasons, including Maha Kumbh, Legislative Council elections and Mahashivratri, and online classes will continue.
School Holidays 2025: There is relief news for the students of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. In view of the increasing number of devotees in Maha Kumbh 2025, the district administration has decided to keep all schools up to class 8 closed till February 26. During this time, online classes of students will continue and teachers will have to come to school and work.
Similarly, all schools from class 1 to 8 of council, aided, recognized, CBSE and ICSE boards will remain closed in Varanasi till February 22. Classes in these schools will be conducted online.
Schools and colleges will remain closed in East and West Godavari, Krishna-Guntur, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram and Visakhapatnam districts on February 27 due to Legislative Council elections in Andhra Pradesh. All educational institutions in Telangana will remain closed on February 26 and 27.
When will there be holidays in schools this month? (February Holiday)
Apart from this, all schools from class 1 to 12 in Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed till February 28, and the Punjab government will declare a holiday in schools and government offices on the occasion of Mahashivratri on February 26. According to the holiday table of the Basic Education Council of Uttar Pradesh, there will be a holiday in schools from class 1 to 8 on February 26. Schools will remain closed on February 23 as it is Sunday.
