School Holidays: Big relief news for students! School winter vacation extended, now schools will remain closed for so many more days

School Holidays: The severe cold, cold wave and dense fog have further extended the school holidays in many states. Especially in Rajasthan, UP and Madhya Pradesh, students are getting relief. Let us know for how long schools will remain closed in which state.

Haryana orders holiday for schools

The administration in Haryana’s Kurukshetra and Ambala districts has ordered government and private schools to remain closed till January 17. Schools are likely to reopen from January 18. Earlier holidays were announced from January 1 to January 15, but this period has been extended in view of the deteriorating weather conditions.

Benefit of increased holidays in Rajasthan

In Kota and Bundi of Rajasthan, holidays have been declared for schools from class 1 to 5 till January 18, while schools from class 6 to 12 will run from 10 am to 3 pm. Apart from this, holidays have also been extended for children from class 1 to 8 in Deeg, Alwar, Pratapgarh, Beawar and Ajmer.

Holidays in these districts of Madhya Pradesh too

Holidays have been declared in schools from nursery to class 8 in districts like Ujjain, Mandsaur, Sagar, Neemuch of Madhya Pradesh till January 17. Here teachers have been ordered to come to school daily, but students have got holidays. Holidays will also continue in Ashoknagar, Ratlam, Tikamgarh, Guna, Datia, Chhatarpur, Shajapur and Agar Malwa till January 18.

Schools from class 1 to 8 are closed in UP too

In Ghaziabad, UP, schools from class 1 to 8 will remain closed till January 18. This order is applicable in schools of all boards here. Due to cold wave in districts like Lucknow, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Agra, holiday has been declared on January 17 in schools up to class 8.

Holidays in Shahjahanpur and Muzaffarnagar too

In Shahjahanpur and Muzaffarnagar, schools up to class 8 will remain closed till January 18. After this, as January 19 is a Sunday, schools will reopen from January 20. For students of classes 9 to 12, where online classes are not being held, schools will be operated from 10 am to 3 pm.
