School Holidays (Winter vacation): These days winter holidays are going on in most of the states of India. North India is covered with cold wave and dense blanket of fog. Winter vacation has been extended in many states including Delhi NCR, UP, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chandigarh (Winter Vacation Extended in Delhi 2025). Know when schools will open in which state.
School Holidays (Winter vacation): In Ghaziabad adjoining Delhi, an order has been issued to close all schools up to class 8 due to severe cold. No such instructions have come in Noida at present, so private schools are taking the decision of winter vacation as per their own. Many schools including DPS have a holiday today (School Holidays). Bihar Schools Closed: Children’s fun in Bihar
Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has issued a notice and ordered to keep classes up to 8th closed in all private and government schools (including pre-schools and Anganwadi centers) in the district under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code. At the same time, classes from 9th to 12th will run from 9 am to 3.30 pm. Schools in many districts including Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Siwan, Munger, Sheikhpura, Saran, Bettiah will remain closed till January 11, 2025.
Rajasthan School Holidays: There was a great time in Rajasthan
Holidays have been declared in schools till January 9 in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. In view of extreme cold and cold wave, District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav has ordered to extend the holidays in all schools from class 1 to 8 in the district till January 9. During this time the teaching staff will be present in the school regularly. In view of the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, the Bharatpur district administration has taken this important decision. Schools have also been closed in many other districts of Rajasthan.
UP Schools Closed: Schools closed in Uttar Pradesh too
Most of the districts of UP are in the grip of dense fog today. Rain alert has also been issued at some places. In Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, orders have been issued to close all schools up to class 8 from 6 to 11 January (Winter Vacation in UP). DIOS has taken this decision keeping in mind the extreme cold wave and cold. Currently, schools are closed in most cities including Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow, Kanpur, Noida, Agra, Mathura, Varanasi.
