Schools and government offices closed: In view of the G-20 in Delhi, the Kejriwal government has taken a big decision. Delhi CM Kejriwal has announced school holiday on 8th, 9th and 10th September in the month of September. Also, all the members of Delhi Government and MCD


Due to next month’s G-20 Summit in Delhi, a public holiday has been declared from September 8 to 10. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday approved the proposal to declare public holiday from 8 to 10 September. Delhi CM Kejriwal has announced school holiday on 8th, 9th and 10th September in the month of September. Along with this, it has been announced to keep all the offices of Delhi Government and MCD closed in these 3 days.

All schools, government offices including MCD offices will remain closed on these dates due to G20 summit. An official said that the file containing the police proposal was sent to CM Kejriwal by Chief Sachin Naresh Kumar. Now after the approval of the Chief Minister, it will be sent to the Lieutenant Governor.

Let us tell you that on August 18, Madhup Tiwari, Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police, wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary, suggesting that the government declare a public holiday during September 8-10 due to the G20 summit and shut down most of the commercial establishments located in the New Delhi area.
