School, College Closed In UP: Schools and colleges have been closed in some districts of Uttar Pradesh and are about to be closed in some places. These holidays are being done in view of the Kanwar Yatra. For this reason, the polytechnic examination has also been postponed in some districts of UP and now it will be conducted on other dates going forward. Schools and colleges in UP’s Mazuffarnagar had already been announced to be closed. Educational institutions have been closed here from July 8, which will remain closed till July 16. Now some more names have also been added to the list.
Schools closed in Meerut as well
All the schools and colleges of Muzaffarnagar will come under the purview of this rule. That is, all private or government institutions have been closed. After this, the same decision has been taken in Meerut as well. All the schools, degree colleges, coaching centers here will remain closed from July 10 to July 17, 2023. Here also the rule will apply equally to all types of educational institutions. Along with this, instructions have also been given to close schools in Baghpat and Saharanpur.
Schools up to 8th closed here
While everything including all classes and degree colleges have been closed in Muzaffarnagar and Meerut, only schools up to class 8 have been closed in Budaun. This closure is for two days, Saturday and Monday. Schools will open again here from Tuesday. This decision is only for the students of small class.
Polytechnic exam went ahead
The date of polytechnic examinations in Meerut and Muzaffarnagar has also been extended. The examinations to be held here between 10 to 15 July will now be conducted from 21 to 26 July 2023. The decision from closing the school to furthering the examinations has been taken because of the Kanwar Yatra. Schools have been closed so that the Kanwar Yatra can be organized successfully.
