This card is made for senior citizens above 60 years of age, also known as Senior Citizen Identity Card. This card is also a kind of identity card which tells the details of the cardholder.
With the help of this card, many special facilities are given to senior citizens. Through this card, benefits of government as well as private schemes are also given. Know the benefits of making this card
Earlier senior citizens were given concession in rail fare, but now it has been discontinued. However a separate ticket counter is still provided. Concession is given in flight tickets.
