Share Market Opening on 14 September: The domestic stock market started trading on Thursday with a new history. As soon as trading started in the market, both the major indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty reached their new lifetime high levels.
Started at this level
As soon as the BSE Sensex opened, it jumped by more than 200 points and reached near 67,693.88 points. The Sensex opened with a rise at 67,627.03 points and within a few minutes it achieved a new high. Earlier on Wednesday, the Sensex had closed at 67,466.99 points. At the same time, Nifty also started trading with a rise at 20,127.95 points. Within a short time, Nifty also touched a new historical high of 20,127.95 points.
Strength is built from pre-open
Domestic markets were showing signs of a strong start in the pre-open session. In the pre-open session, BSE Sensex was near 67,630 points with a gain of 160 points, while Nifty was stronger by about 60 points and was near 20,130 points.
Nifty made this record yesterday
A day before this, there was a good rise in the market and Nifty had made a new record. In Wednesday’s trading, Nifty closed beyond the 20 thousand mark level for the first time. Nifty has succeeded in crossing the 20 thousand mark for the first time this week. On Wednesday, Nifty closed at 20,070 points.
Mixed signals from global markets
On Wednesday, American markets closed with mixed sentiments. While Nasdaq was up by 0.29 percent, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by more than 70 points. There was a slight increase of 0.13 percent in S&P 500.
Asian markets are also showing a mixed trend on Thursday. In the day’s trading, Japan’s Nikkei was down by more than 230 points, while on the other hand, China’s Shanghai Composite was down by 0.45 percent and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was down by 0.09 percent.
Big stocks rise from the beginning
Talking about big companies, almost all the shares were in the green zone in the initial trading. Shares of Tata Steel had increased the most by about 2 percent. Shares like Tech Mahindra, JSW Steel, Titan and Wipro were also up by more than 1 percent each. Whereas shares like Axis Bank and UltraTech Cement were trading with slight losses.
