IRCTC: The first Vande Bharat will run from Secunderabad to Tirupati in Telangana and the second will run for Chennai-Coimbatore. This train will cover the distance of 661 km between Secunderabad-Tirupati in 8 hours 30 minutes.
New Vande Bharat Train: Working continuously on the facilities of the passengers, the semi high speed train Vande Bharat has been flagged off by the government on two new routes on Saturday. The first Vande Bharat will run from Secunderabad to Tirupati in Telangana and the second will run for Chennai-Coimbatore.
This train will cover the distance of 661 km between Secunderabad-Tirupati in 8 hours 30 minutes. Whereas, the 495.28 km journey between Chennai-Coimbatore will be completed in 6 hours 10 minutes.
Current total number of trains increased to 12
After PM Modi flagged off two Vande Bharat trains on Saturday, the total number of existing trains in the country has gone up to 12. People are very fond of the semi high speed train Vande Bharat. At present, 16 coaches have been given in the Vande Bharat trains which are operating in the country. But now the operation of Vande Bharat with 8 coaches will be started by the Railways. The first train is expected to run this month.
Vande Bharat with first few coaches
This will be the first Vande Bharat train with few coaches in the country. Its route has not been decided yet. The Railway Ministry will soon finalize its route as well. At present, the occupancy rate is going above 100 percent in the routes on which Vande Bharat is running. In some it is less than 100 percent. In such a situation, it is expected that Vande Bharat train with fewer coaches will be run where the train is running empty.
