New Delhi, Business Desk. E-commerce platform Snapdeal started selling all types of goods across the country on Tuesday. The company serves 26,000 pincodes. According to a report by the news agency PTI, the company has said that it has been facilitating cash-on delivery to its customers as before the lockdown. It is worth mentioning that in the fourth phase of the lockdown, the government has allowed E-commerce companies to start selling non-essential items in all zones. However, delivery of essential goods can still be done in the Containment Zone.
Snapdeal has issued a statement claiming that it is the only platform to offer cash-on-delivery options across 26,000 PIN codes across all zones. The company said that it has completed delivery of 50 percent of the goods from the bookings prior to the lockdown. Delivery of these goods was not due to lockdown.

Amazon too started its full services from Monday, welcoming the decision. However, both Flipkart and Amazon have said to take full care of the safety of customers and their employees during their service.
